Pat Gannon is from a farming background and has worked as a Livestock Auctioneer in Kilkenny, and other livestock centres for a number of years. His late father held an Auctioneers License from 1943 until his passing in 1989. He was extremely well known in the Livestock Auctioneering business and Pat followed in his footsteps for a number of years until he opened up shop in Kilkenny City in Nov 1998.
With his long association with landowners, Pat has built up a very good Land Sales portfolio and is recognized as specializing in this area. He has built up an excellent reputation in negotiating both private and public sales across all of Kilkenny and surrounding counties: Carlow, Tipperary, Laois and even Galway to mention a few. Pat is MIPAV/TRV TEGOVA and is registered to carry out Blue Book Valuations.
Marie Maher has been with Pat Gannon Auctioneers Ltd since the establishment of the Kilkenny office in November 1998 and has played a key role in the growth and success of the firm over the past 27+ years. Marie manages the day-to-day operations of the office and is a central point of contact for clients, lenders, and professional advisors.
With over 27 years of experience in the property industry, Marie has extensive knowledge across all aspects of auctioneering, property sales, lettings, and professional valuation services. Her depth of experience spans residential and commercial property, market appraisals, valuations for mortgage / sales / taxation / transfer purposes, and advisory work, providing clients with informed, reliable and practical guidance.
Marie is an Associate Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). She is registered under the Valuers Scheme to carry out Red Book-compliant valuations and is on the valuation panel for a number of leading banks, carrying out mortgage and lending valuations.
Known for her professionalism, attention to detail and in-depth understanding of the local and regional property markets, Marie is highly regarded by clients and colleagues alike. She prides herself on delivering a responsive, thorough and client-focused service, built on long-standing relationships and a strong reputation for integrity and reliability.
